Interactive Geoscience Exhibit

Science Rendezvous Kingston

Kingston, Ontario

The Foundation returns to Science Rendezvous Kingston with Mining Matters for an interactive exhibit exploring Kingston in the Precambrian. Visitors will learn about volcanoes, rock types and what the Kingston area looked like more than 545 million years ago, with fun giveaways to continue the learning at home.

The Foundation will once again partner with Mining Matters to deliver an interactive geology exhibit during this four-day event. Young visitors are encouraged to stop by the activity table for hands-on, geology-themed crafts and activities.

The Foundation will return to the Nepean Sportsplex with Mining Matters to host a geology-themed interactive exhibit for visitors to the Ottawa Lapsmith and Mineral Club Gem & Mineral Show.
