APGO Education Foundation is now Geodiversity Education Foundation
The Geodiversity Education Foundation, formerly the APGO Education Foundation (APGOEF) and its innovative educational website GeoscienceINFO.com, are now together under a single domain name geodiversity.ca. The Foundation now has an easy to access unified destination for all its geoscience education resources, virtual field trips, scholarships, bursaries, outreach activities and public engagement.
What is geodiversity?
Geodiversity is the natural variety of non-living, abiotic elements of the Earth, including rocks, minerals, fossils, soils, sediments, and landforms, along with the active physical processes that shape them. It acts as the foundational stage upon which ecosystems and human life exist.

Our commitment to future geoscientists begins with our youngest explorers. Through our Kids Zone, available in both English and French, children can enjoy interactive activities featuring Rocky the Raccoon while discovering rocks, fossils, Earth science and geology in an engaging and accessible way.
